Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we knew it has drastically altered. The world past our doors is a shadow of its former glory. We are now stuck within the boundaries of our homes, forced to conform to a new lifestyle. The days melt, marked by the pattern of online meetings, streaming media, and cooking. We long for the simple pleasures that were once taken for granted: a walk in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a chat without a screen separating us.
This new existence has created challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more resourceful, and more thankful for the simple things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are near.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a brutal reality. Every day, you face limitations that feel like an unbreakable chain. The world outside seems so reachable, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.
Sometimes, the burden of those bars feels suffocating. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a constant echo that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure for freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to restriction. This happens when the very notion with freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a mechanism for control and suppression.
Genuine freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the cultivation of internal spirit. When this inner base is lacking, even in a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves bound within the restrictions of their own beliefs.
Consequently, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
